Culture & Longevity

Rockstar is a clan of WoW veterans founded in 2019 by like-minded players from across competitive gaming. We've grown and evolved through different versions of Classic, but the community has remained the constant. We play to accomplish things together, build lasting friendships, and create memories that bring people back. As Forever progresses, the guild will evolve with it while preserving what makes Rockstar great. Our Discord has been active for several years, with banter, memes, game talk, and everything else.

Raiding:

The plan for Rockstar is to field a mixture of Competitive, Semi-Hardcore, and Pickup raids, giving players different ways to participate based on their goals, availability, and characters.

Competitive raids:

Schedule as needed depending on goals. Built around an established roster and clear performance goals -- progression rank, speed clears, parsing, or whatever competitive meta develops in Forever. These teams will have high expectations for character preparation, encounter knowledge, attendance, and individual performance. The priority is not simply clearing content, but continually improving as a team and finding ways to execute better and faster over time.

Semi-Hardcore raids:

2-3 nights per week, ~3 hours per night. Mostly established rosters and a focus on clearing content efficiently and effectively while still maintaining a standard of preparation and performance that respects everyone's time. These raids can accommodate players with schedules, alts, and friends.

Pickup raids:

Signup-based for bonus instances, content cleanup, leggo runs, etc.

Who we need right now:

We're not looking for specific classes or roles at this time, rather players interested in committing to competitive and/or semi-hardcore raids. If Rockstar sounds like a good home for you in Forever, drop us a line in our Discord
