Welcome to the Girthquake guild page, below you will find the raiding goals, raider expectations, and overall vibe of the guild. Thanks for checking us out!

The overall goal for raiding in Girthquake is to push for execution ranking on Warcraft Logs via Speed Kills. The expectation with speed killing is within a 12 week raid cycle we spend the first 3-4 weeks progging until we can start testing risky strategies and improving our kill times between weeks 4-8. Once we have solid strategies down and everyone is confident we will then enter weeks 8-12 as our push weeks, you should have the expectation that if we aren’t on a good kill trajectory a reset will be called and an attempt made again and or attempted with cooldowns the next week depending on the time in raid.

We are looking to have everyone engineering by Tier 1 push week

The expectation is that your personal parse is a contribution to the overall parse of the guild on each boss kill. With that said, full reasonable consumes food buffs, enchants, flasks, potions, etc. I will create a list for each class and spec with the expected consumes.

Positive mindset - Ultimately this is a video game, we want to have fun but also achieve the goals we are setting forth to accomplish. I encourage feedback, strategy sharing, and honesty. When we are in our push weeks and we reset bosses multiple times or during prog struggle through a boss multiple times you are expected not to tilt and to perform to the best of your capabilities. I will in a positive fashion call people out for making mistakes so please do not take that personally and as me wanting you to improve and see your success for the success of others and the guild.

Logs - Myself and or other officers are very capable of reading logs and will do so if performance is lacking or we notice things you can improve as a player and raider, this will be done in a private message or call to go over any improvements that can be made.
